Another piece of our story … Pine Cone Alley Studio.

It’s a little family dream, brought to life by the three women of the tribe. It’s a labor of love, and mostly a space for my mama, artist Donna D’Orio, to create her remarkable cooking vessels, built from a rare and beautiful clay hand-harvested in the Colorado plateau.

But it’s also a place that reminds the photographer and the writer (hi!) to show up and make time to create.
